Highlight: A picture can say 1000 words. A picture has the ability to capture the world in ways that a person’s eye may not be able to see at first glance. So if photography is one of your main interests or a future career possibility then the Greater than Gatsby Scholarship is the perfect competition for you! If you are a recently graduated high school student majoring in any type of art program you are eligible to take part in this photography scholarship contest. With three winners each year, each winner is rewarded with $1000 for their photography scholarship contest entry that could be used to pay for your student tuition and academic expenses. Winners will be emailed but will require proof of identity(student ID or driver’s license). All you need to do is submit 3 photos along with a short essay of at least 500 words describing your photos and why you’re interested in photography by May 1st! This photography scholarship contest has been empowering the next generations of students in the arts fields since 2019, so why not let it empower you to show off your talent in photography!
